Marisa began skating at the age of 5 and has been playing rep hockey for 19 years. She plays on  the University of New Brunswick Women’s Hockey Team, where she is a 3-time AUS Champion and has made 3 National Appearances. Before joining UNB, Marisa played for the Stoney Creek Jr. Sabres. One big accomplishment in Midget AA was  earning a 3rd place finish at the Esso Cup, showcasing her exceptional skills on the national stage.

Marisa has been coaching with Total Speed Hockey for 5 years and also serves as a summer instructor with the REDS Women’s Youth Hockey Programs. Her passion for helping young athletes grow and develop shines through in every session, making her an integral part of the coaching team.
Marisa is in her 5th year at UNB, finishing her degree in Psychology while continuing her hockey career at the U SPORTS level. She brings a positive attitude, extensive experience, and a strong work ethic

When she’s not on the ice, Marisa enjoys hiking, traveling, dancing, and spending time with friends.
