LAUREN CARTER

​

Lauren began skating at the age of 4 and has been playing rep hockey for 16 years. Before joining the University of New Brunswick Women’s Hockey Team, where she is a 3x AUS Champion and has made 3 National Appearances.  Lauren played for the Oakville Jr. Hornets. She has earned several accolades throughout her career, including a bronze medal at the Esso Cup and a gold medal at the Ontario Summer Games. Lauren has also participated in the U16 and U18 Ontario Camps, representing her province at an elite level.


Lauren has been coaching with Total Speed Hockey for 4 years, where she brings her expertise to both on-ice sessions and facility programs. She has coached many Jr Reds, and CFHA sessions, also mentored youth in Stoney Creek and Oakville, along with coaching at various summer hockey camps. Lauren’s passion for guiding young athletes has made her a trusted leader in the hockey community.


As the Operations Manager at Total Speed Hockey, Lauren oversees the planning and organization of fundamental camps, manages bookings, creates social media and newsletters, and leads training sessions both on-ice and at the facility. Her dedication to detail and ability to inspire young athletes make her an essential part of the team.
When she’s not on the ice, Lauren enjoys listening to country music, reading, enjoying coffee, and spending time outdoors.
